← Elster ArchivePRIVACY NOTICE · UPDATED 11 SEPTEMBER 2026

Privacy, in plain language.

How this website and the camera service handle your information.

Who operates the service

Elster Archive is an independent early-access service operated by Sagi Elster. It helps deliver camera clips to your preferred messaging app. It is not operated by your camera manufacturer or messaging provider.

Early-access requests and this website

We use your name, email and camera brand to respond to your request and, with your consent, send camera-availability updates. Cloudflare hosts the website and stores these requests for up to 180 days, with expired records removed by hourly cleanup. We do not use them for unrelated marketing. Hosting providers may process request and security logs to serve and protect the site.

A necessary cookie lets you withdraw your request from this browser for up to 180 days. Earlier chat-signup confirmations use a separate 24-hour cookie and expire after 24 hours. We do not use advertising trackers on this website.

Your chat and camera access

Your chosen messaging provider receives your conversation and delivered clips. Elster Archive processes your contact details, setup answers, camera permissions and service status to connect your camera and deliver clips. Confirmed setup information may remain in your service account until you request deletion.

We do not ask for your personal camera password. Setup uses a separate account that you authorize to access your camera. This still grants access to footage; some camera setups require broader administrator permissions. Review the permissions before connecting. You can revoke access in your camera app.

Video processing and temporary copies

We do not keep a permanent video archive for you on our systems. Clips pass through our capture and delivery systems, including temporary files, to reach your chat. Capture and relay code removes delivery files after processing; messaging connectors can keep temporary attachment copies until their cleanup runs. Cleanup can be delayed by failures, so we do not promise that every copy disappears immediately after delivery.

Your messaging provider has its own message storage, backup and deletion policies. Stopping Elster Archive or deleting your setup does not delete clips already delivered to your messaging app.

Transport and security

This website uses HTTPS. Camera and messaging connections also depend on the providers and delivery connectors involved. Elster Archive processes clips to deliver them, so we do not claim end-to-end encryption for the complete service. Avoid sending your personal camera password or unrelated sensitive information in chat.

Stopping, deletion and privacy questions

Send “stop” in your existing Elster Archive chat to stop service, and revoke access in your camera app. You can ask for deletion of setup information or raise a privacy question in that chat. For an early-access email request, use the withdrawal option in the website confirmation or reply to our follow-up email. Delete delivered messages and backups separately in your messaging app.

To contact us before setup, open WhatsApp, Messages, or Telegram and ask for help with a privacy question. You do not need to connect a camera to ask.
